The second Pan-American/Iberian Meeting on Acoustics, co organized by the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), the Iberoamerican Federation of Acoustics (FIA), and the Mexican Institute of Acoustics (IMA), will be held in the beautiful coast of Cancun, QR, Mexico, at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach hotel installations, located at punta Cancun, at only 30 minutes from the international airport, and less than 15 minutes from downtown Cancun, also very near from multiple spots with archaeological and natural interest, such as The Mayan Sacred Cities of Chichen-Itza, Tulum, Uxmal, Coba and the natural wonders of the Xel-Há lagoon, the Islands of Contoy, Mujeres and Cosumel, Tres Rios and Xcaret (www:yucatan.gob.com)

The second edition will join together specialists from around the world in the relevant areas of acoustics. Besides the conferences, the organization of the event will include courses, tutorials and an exhibit of laboratory equipment, acoustical materials and services.

At the event, there will also be technical and recreational excursions, plus an interesting cultural program for accompanying persons
